Autismo Día a Día is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Hispanic families navigating autism through education, advocacy, and community programs.

A mother, educator, and community advocate, began her journey by supporting other mothers at the therapy centers where she accompanied her son Mauro, who was diagnosed with autism at 20 months old.
As someone who is also diagnosed with autism and combined ADHD, Aura developed a deep understanding of the challenges many families face after receiving a diagnosis. She soon realized that many Hispanic families in Gwinnett County, Georgia were encountering significant barriers: limited access to information in their language, difficulty navigating complex healthcare and education systems, and a lack of accessible resources for early intervention.
Motivated by this reality, she decided to take action. What began as an informal support network among parents gradually grew into the nonprofit organization we know today as Autismo Día a Día.
Today, the organization works to educate, support, and empower families while building a stronger community where no family has to navigate the autism journey alone.
If you are a parent facing a similar situation, we want you to know something important: you are not alone. We are here to support one another. Autism has entered our lives to teach us how to unlearn, relearn, and live each day with greater understanding, patience, and love — day by day.

Our mission is to empower Hispanic families impacted by autism through education, advocacy, and access to resources that help them navigate diagnosis, services, and school systems.

We envision a community where every neurodiverse individual and their family have access to support, understanding, and opportunities to thrive.

We believe in building strong networks of support for families navigating autism.
We provide accessible information and tools that empower families to advocate for their children.
We promote understanding and acceptance of neurodiversity within our community.
We work to ensure families understand their rights and have access to essential services.

We provide workshops and educational resources that help parents better understand autism and navigate available services for their children.

We create supportive spaces where families can connect, share experiences, and build strong community networks.

We connect families with professionals and organizations that provide services and support for neurodiverse individuals.

We empower parents with knowledge and tools that help them advocate for their children within healthcare and educational systems.
